Children at the orphanage enjoying some treats from the missions team, November 2020.
Yahweh continues to provide for the HOPE Orphanage!
Recently, the Orphanage added even more children to their ranks, bringing the total to 110 CHILDREN! Glory to God for the increase!
We are so grateful to the Lord for sending us to be a blessing to the ELIM (El Shaddai Love International Ministries) HOPE Orphanage in Walewale, Ghana. The HOPE Orphanage is a Christian orphanage school in an area where there is great need. By the Lord's provision through offerings and donations, we are able to send money monthly to care for the needs of the children in the orphanage. This includes food, uniforms, shoes, textbooks, medical cards, and vaccinations.
Many of the children lost their parents to illness contracted from a tainted water supply. The children attend school at the orphanage during the school day and then stay with their foster family at night. For many foster families, an extra mouth to feed is a great burden, but praise God! He has provided and we are able to feed them 2 meals a day at the school and send enough money to buy grain to send home for the children. By HIS grace, we are making a difference in the lives of these children.
Since the October trip, God has provided for a well to be dug at the orphanage, as well as for the building of a cafeteria/multi-purpose room. We can't thank the Lord enough for pouring out His blessings for our precious children!
